Buying Guidelines

Whether you’re a first time buyer or seasoned veteran, buying a home can be frustrating and stressful. However it can also be easy, joyful and fulfilling. What makes the difference? The relationship that you have with your Real Estate Agent.

What We Bring to the Table for Our Clients

Knowledge: Experienced Real Estate Agents have both knowledge of homes in the area and experience in the "buying process." As a top producing company, A Moving Experience brings a wealth of knowledge to you.

Relationship: Mike de Jonge fosters strong relationships with his clients built on honesty and trust making the difference between a stressful purchase and one made with ease and satisfaction! Buying your home is a major financial investment. You can trust us to assist and guide you in making your decision.

Patience: There is nothing worse then a Realtor® selling you hard, giving vague advice, keeping you in the dark and being nowhere to be found after you move. Patience is a virtue and one of our core values. We want our clients to understand the process and to love the home they choose. That means spending time explaining all the steps: the pros and cons, the ins and outs. Puting ourselves in your shoes, we make sure you have everything you need to make a decision you are completely comfortable with.

Your Needs Before Ours: When Real Estate Agents put their needs ahead of their clients, trouble is sure to follow. We often have clients say, "You don't have to do that. You've done so much already. Do you ever sleep? When do you find time for yourselves?" Our response is that we are committed to your needs. Until your needs are met, we will not stop. We ensure that you are 100% satisfied with our services from beginning to end.

The First Step in the Process

If you agree that the relationship with your Realtor® is one of the most important aspects of the buying process, we will meet you for an initial interview that takes from 45 minutes to 2 hours. We will explain the home buying process and potential costs. We will ask questions about your needs such as: community of choice, type of home, size, number of bedrooms, etc. These questions help us understand your desires and narrow down the number of potential homes. We will tell you about current homes on the market. Before spending your valuable time going in and out of homes that may not fit, together we will look at detailed reports on properties and determine which homes you want to view. Our initial meeting will also let you evaluate us to make sure you trust us; we also want to make sure we can meet your needs. The key is making sure our relationship is a good fit all around.
